Wear LACMA Debuts
I was so honored to be asked to participate in the latest season of Wear LACMA. Each season the iconic LA Museum taps local designers to create limited-edition designs inspired by their permanent collections. When I visited the museum for a private tour with the incredibly chic Katherine Ross, first we sat down and discussed what type of art I'm drawn to and what inspires me. I told her that French things as well as very graphic art and art that includes text were things that stood out in my head. Katherine brought me to see an 18th century French vest. The graphic embroidery pattern and tongue-in-cheek sayings were made all the more charming by the way they're mixed together. The hand-drawn elements reminded me so much of the beautiful work that our Graphic Designer Lizzie does at CVHQ - it seemed a perfect fit.
I'm so pleased with the final collection and the fun French twist we brought to the pieces. There's a triangle printed cream leather flat clutch, a tote in both cream leather and triangle-printed canvas, and adorable tees, printed with "Charmant Charmant" and other charming French phrases. And talk about good company - I'm so honored to be a part of the program alongside Anita Ko and George Esquivel.
We added the phrase "Charmant Charmant" on the triangle print clutch and tote.
The shirt says the clothes don't make the man, but Chloe couldn't look cuter in this limited-edition tee.
The cream leather tote comes in the softest shade that's perfect for Summer.
And Chloe wants them both.
You'll be able to shop select pieces on Net-a-Porter beginning tomorrow, May 21, and the full collection on ClareV.com!

Our Favorite Bloggers Cont.
Because one post just wasn't enough, we wanted to share with you even more of the great shots that 5 of our favorite bloggers from 4 top blogs sent our way. We wanted to see how these stylish ladies from every corner of the country styled their CV flat clutch and we were so inspired by the unique results! From a fresh new take on SoCal style to desert-ready silhouettes to the best pairing of black and white we've seen in a while, they all get it just right. See more of our top pics below. -Alexis
This denim and white eyelet combo prove that Jacey from Damsel in Dior is a Cali girl through and through. She looks so fresh for Spring and even better for Summer, creating the perfect backdrop for the classic camel clutch.
Sarah Yates from A House in the Hills knows how to wear her CV while bringing a heavy dose of cool to the desert heat. Her pale pink dress/culottes hybrid feels just right for the Palm Springs sun and the bag is the perfect neutral to work with any color palette.
And to the queen of cool: Amanda of The Style Gossiper! It doesn't matter the season, this New Yorker is never without her leather jacket...and striped CV go-anywhere clutch, of course.

1 Bag, 4 Ways On Our Favorite Bloggers
We’re always so inspired by the way different
people style their CV bags and we wanted to introduce one of our favorites from
the Spring ’14 line in a special way. We’ve tasked four of our favorite blogs
from every corner of the country to wear the CV black and white striped flat clutch and style
it in their own unique way. We’re obsessed with the results and these photos
have shown us a whole new way to wear this CV classic. Take a look below at
some of the best shots and don’t be afraid to show off your own CV styling and
use #MyClareV.
As an LA girl, Damsel in Dior‘s
Jacey Duprie always gets Cali style just right. She paired her new clutch with
the perfect Spring to Summer combo of chambray shirt and light
white skirt.
Sarah Yates from A House in the
Hills knows how to battle the desert heat from her perch in Palm
Springs. Her look is all about versatility, with culottes that provide comfort
while still staying cool. Topped off of course with her CV striped clutch.
Hailing from Dallas, sisters Molly
and Sally Miller from A Piece of Toast show us a new way to wear the
CV clutch. Sally’s bold approach to stripes on prints has got our
attention while Molly’s got the laid-back look down with a new take on the
classic LBD. The CV clutch adds the perfect pop to what she’s wearing.
Amanda Brohman is our go-to girl for
all things cool. The Style Gossiper is wearing her CV clutch with a leather
and shearling jacket and eyelet skirt. The most unexpected combination proves
to be just right for this New Yorker.
