Master sign painter Richard has at it!
It was cool to see someone skilled at an old art form - hand sign painting.
He set up scaffolding, outlined letters
and had it done in a matter of hours.
The drop shadows are sick, as the kids say.
Eh Voila. The sign makes it real...Opening May 7, 2011.

i recently watched "beautiful losers", the documentary, and had a resurgance of appreciation for hand-painting signs after a segment about them in the mission district of san francisco. love that you did that!
congrats - i will be there soon after the opening to see the (soon-to-be-mine) navy messenger and blue pebbled foldover clutch!
Beautiful font - so elegant. So excited to see the store.
Love your designs-they are ridiculous! I love it and love to own one of your bags! Would you like to host a give-away on my blog.
Now if you say yes, that would be totally sick!
